Join the City of Meadow Lake in recognizing Emergency Preparedness Week each year in May

Each October, the City along with a wide range of first-response agencies present a family-friendly and educational free event.

Come meet your firefighters and other emergency responders along with community support agencies.  Have some food, have some fun, and learn how to be better prepared!

Contests

From time to time, special events are help such as poster contests, community-wide scavenger hunts, pop quizzes on Voyent Alert -  all with prizes and educational purposes!

Community Meetings

Everyone has a role in emergency preparedness!  Representatives from many community groups are encouraged to participate in workshops, tabletop exercises and mock incidents.
