Our Current Roster
Fire department members come from all walks of life and backgrounds.
All members are "paid on call", which means that, when an emergency incident occurs they leave their places of employment to respond to the call. We depend on understanding employers who support their employees' firefighting careers.
Employers of Firefighters
We value and appreciate the many employers throughout the City and wider area who make it possible for their employees - our firefighters - to leave work to respond to emergencies. The dedication and support of these community-minded businesses are indispensable!
Senior Officers
The Command Staff includes the Fire Chief, Deputy Chief and Captains, who are entrusted with the responsibility of Incident Command at emergency response events.
