Public Notice - Potential Road Closure Bylaw
In accordance with The Cities Act, and the Public Notice Policy Bylaw No. 7/2021, at its next regular meeting of Council at 7:00 p.m. on Monday, the 24th of August, 2026 at City Hall in Council Chambers located at 506 3rd Street E Meadow Lake, the Council of the City of Meadow Lake will be considering the following matter:
A potential road closure bylaw for Neheyo Road.
This is the road between the Giant Tiger and RCMP detachment. This closure is required to make it possible for the property to be returned to Flying Dust First Nation.
Please note that the intent is not to physically close the road. This will remain operating as a road. A road cannot be sold or title transferred unless it has been closed first so we must first close it before any transfer can be made to Flying Dust.
Neheyo Road Parcel: Legal Land Description: Street/Lane 1 - Plan 76B04263 Ext 0 (being the roadway between lots 17 and 18)
