Safe & Prepared Event

Safe & Prepared is an event hosted by the Meadow Lake Fire Department and Meadow Lake Emergency Measures Organization. This event happens every year in October during Fire Prevention Week. The focus of Safe & Prepared is to spread awareness around emergency preparedness and fire prevention.

Safe & Prepared is happening this year on October 6th, 2026 at the Co-op Centre from 5:00pm to 9:00pm. 

VOLUNTEER

Volunteers are needed October 6th, 2026, from 4:30PM -7:30PM, shifts may vary within that time frame. Deadline to signup to volunteer is October 2nd, 2026. Possible duties may include, working the welcome table, serving food, running children’s activities, handing out information pamphlets and merch, working the prize table and/or other various jobs.
